Healing by Authority
Matthew 9:6-8 (ESV)
6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Rise, pick up your bed and go home.” 7 And he rose and went home. 8 When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
Matthew 10:1 (ESV)
1 And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.
Luke 4:32 (ESV)
32 and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word possessed authority.
Luke 4:39
And he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her, and immediately she rose and began to serve them.
Luke 4:36 (ESV)
36 And they were all amazed and said to one another, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”
We heal by authority and power
1 Peter 2:24
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
Authority has been given to the sons of God through the Word of God. The operation of this authority is relative to your belief in what God has ALREADY said.
The stronger the Word of God gets in you, the quicker and more complete his Spirit and power operates through you.
God is not dictating by a sovereign act how His Spirit works through you.
You dictate the effectiveness and results of the unlimited Spirit and power of God through you. It operates according to the degree of resistance in your soul-life to His Spirit and Word.
God is not separate from you, He is seated in you on the earth and you are seated in Him in heaven.
