As children of the king and carriers of the atmosphere of another world, we are commissioned with the responsibility of advancing the kingdom of God in a way that darkness is destroyed and lives are redeemed and transformed.
Holy Spirit is leading a fresh wave of understanding and re-grounding of New Testament bible concepts like the kingdom, the gospel, and community.
Currently, Holy Spirit is leading a fresh wave of understanding and re-grounding of New Testament bible concepts like the kingdom, the gospel, and community. For years church culture has represented a model where the leader does all the spiritual work and the people play follow the leader as he or she exercises their ministry. But God is up to something entirely different.
In the New Testament we see believers united in love, living and worshiping together and moving in supernatural encounters as they go about their daily lives. Kingdom minded people are always leading significant lives because their priorities have been realigned. Kingdom minded people are always destroying darkness and changing culture because they bring with them greater hope, love, and creativity wherever they go.

When ambassadors are sent to other countries to negotiate, they are anything but insignificant. They travel with full diplomatic rights and the ability to speak and make decisions for their home country. In many ways, we are living as ambassadors as well. We are ambassadors of another world, a world who has a King and who has a kingdom. With that in mind, we can no longer live insignificant lives. What does significance feel like? Mostly it feels like finding your way down a dimly lit path, unsure of you're next move....but it also feels like dreaming big dreams with God, making courageous choices and taking brave steps with Holy Spirit.
What is the first step to living a significant kingdom life? It starts with and ends with His presence. Learning to host His presence more and better every day. Hosting is an active thing, something that we partner with. When we host His presence, heaven is released naturally. Where ever you go and whatever you do, your significance is not based on performance, not based on what you've done, but based on whose you are and the presence of Jesus on your life.
Hosting His presence isn't a selfish activity, it's the only hope for the world.
Be aware of Him today and be aware of His activity. We host His presence because we understand that His presence is essential for the deliverance of people which is our assignment here on earth. Hosting His presence isn't a selfish activity, it's the only hope for the world.
