In the book of 2 Chronicles, we read about an event of great significance. King Jehoshaphat found himself at war. The people of Moab with the people of Ammon, and others with them besides the Ammonites, came to battle against Jehoshaphat. This great multitude was a significant threat against Jehoshaphat, whose last experience on the field of battle was a narrow escape from death. Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. So Judah gathered together to ask help from the LORD; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.
As Jehoshaphat and all of the people were seeking the Lord, a Levite named Jahaziel began to prophesy:
Let's skip ahead to our day. There are wars and rumors of wars. Terrorism and fear threaten us from many angles. Sickness and tragedy are devastating many lives. But, God is sending the worshipers out in front of the army again. We've been satisfied with a good set list on Sunday, when God is asking us to shift the atmosphere over our cities and regions so that healing starts breaking out, so that mental illness and depression starts to be broken off of people's lives, so that the entire economic structure of cities begins to be revitalized and renewed.
I believe we are entering into a time where the acts of God and the heart of God are going to unite. Where the lovers and the warriors are going to become one heart. This heart is going to put on display the goodness of God like never seen before. The heart of the Father is going to be seen and this display of God is going to wash away pain, sickness, disappointment, and suffering. It is going to set the lonely in families and begin a new season of the kingdom of heaven on earth.
A wave of worship and worshipers are coming, and coming along with it is healing, freedom, broken chains, and everything that happens when the kingdom comes. When we worship, heaven is released naturally and light begins to displace darkness.
Are you a worshiper? Get a vision bigger than Sunday. Find God's heart for your city, then worship Jesus. Sing over your city, declare goodness, healing, freedom, and restoration over it. Worship the King and let heaven come
